Update:
Josh is now 3 months old, 13lb 15oz, 62 cm long. When he meets knew people or ones he hasn't seen for a while, he gets a little frown on his face, studies them intently, and then finally gives a big smile. Handled our shifting really well, and settled into the cot quite happily. Last week we did trips to hospital, airport and hospital over 3 days, and he got completely out of routine and lost a few smiles, but is now back on track and loving life. No, he wasn't the one in hospital - Grandpa is there at the moment, so we visited him, and Jamie, our new flatmate, came home last week so we went to see her and arrange equipment and bring stuff home for her. When on his tummy, Josh gets frustrated after a little while, as his legs are trying desperately to crawl, but his arms aren't ready, so he ends up doing nose-stands, and nearly headstands as he lifts his body off the ground from the waist down!!! Loves playing peek-a-boo with a singlet or cloth - I drop it on over his face and hands and he pulls it down with a big smile. Looks like he may follow his father's family trend and be an early developer - not sure how I'll keep up with him once he's on the move, we don't have a fenced section anymore, and are on the main road. He's so much fun, what did we do before he came along!?!

At the airport waiting for Poppa, Nana, Em and Mike to check in for their big trip to Cambodia.

Warm summer days...

Watching a movie with the big boys (and Snoopy, Jamie's cat)

Joshua is growing, 8 weeks old now. He's sleeping longer, playing longer, drinking longer, growing longer!!! Such a joy, he only cries when tired, hungry or windy, and his tired and hungry cries are more letting me know he's awake, or telling me a big story about how exhausted he is, (such a sad story it is too) than really getting upset. Lots of fun, and it's great watching him develop each week.

Best smile I've been able to catch on camera. He's so fascinated by the camera he stops everything and gazes at it.

Mmm!! Yum!!

6 weeks old, 11lb (5kg)

Update

5 weeks old, and growing! Born 7lb 10oz (3450kg), now 10lb 2oz (4600kg). Just the cutest little guy, and starting to sleep a bit longer, though I'm still figuring him out during the day. Hungry little boy, he drinks so fast he gets hiccups, and often won't settle for a while due to bubbles - typical baby! Smiling more, and awake and alert during the day quite a bit now.

Still don't fit my clothes...

Joshua Jeremy Peake, born 22nd August, 2005, at Matariki Maternity Unit, Te Awamutu. Safely delivered by the hand of God, with the help of Leigh Veale and wonderful support of his Daddy. Just the cutest little guy ever, we're loving having him at home. A wonderful gift for our 1st wedding anniversary on the 28th August.

At home in the bean bag - we may be biased but he's sooo cute!!

If I can't have Mummy, I'll take Daddy's finger...
