Elizabeth Grace Peake - consecrated to God

On Friday evening, 18th September 2009, we were blessed with the safe arrival of our precious little daughter, Elizabeth Grace Peake. Private waterbirth at Rotorua Hospital and a perfect little girl appeared, pink and healthy at 8lb 11oz (3950g), 53cm long. Thought things were happening the night before, but she fluffed around for hours, waiting until Nanabelle arrived on the 4pm bus, and then really got going and arrived in 4 hours. We stayed in hospital until Sunday afternoon, and came home to be looked after by Nanabelle and Grandpa for a couple of days. Settling in nicely now, the boys are so pleased with Baby Lizbiff, (Scott's first efforts!) and it's lovely having a little baby in the house again. She's very settled and contented, apart from some wind problems in the evening, and I'm having so much fun with the pretty pink clothes and bits and pieces we've been given. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Baby was finally more interesting than climbing the bath and bed.

Totally thrilled with his little sister - she finally arrived!

Terah Clifford, thankfully not put off being a midwife one day =) She has followed through the pregnancy with me and attended the birth, and ate chocolate with us afterwards - full initiation!
